Ok. Just looked it up. Kind of like the emotional, capricious, and occasional vengeful/wicked nymphs and fairies, but compared to the rest a lot more reasonable. You'd better be polite, but at least she is nice when you are, doesn't look down on humans not to consider marrying them, doesn't walk around like a god to be worshipped, and is sometimes nice just to be nice, especially to coal miners (?) and occasionally hunters?
Oh, and can have a cow tail and bark instead of hole in the back.
A lot of people's mythologies have some kind of fox spirit, but they vary. This one is reasonably nice. You have to have an extreme sense of politeness, but you will get that respect back. You have to have a silver tongue backed up by pure intent. Maybe she's good to have around.
Minus the occasional kidnappings and changeling incidents, but those individuals are the exception, I hope, not the rule. There needs to be a counter human trafficking equivalent in fantasy games.

the huldra takes care of the forest and it's natives, but want to be treated with respect and love by the men. if she marries a man, then the hole in her back disapeares. and to answer :Corvax13: , the word huldra is from the old Norwegian, in swedish translation Skogsrå- forestmaid. the word huldra itself does not mean anything in swedish
